About the Role:
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for building successful partnerships, creating sustainable revenue growth and strengthening retention initiatives for OpenLearning partners. You will work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Learning Services teams to meet the needs of new and existing partners, covering all aspects of sales, relationship management, and industry networking.
Key Accountabilities:
- Effectively managing a portfolio of existing partners to identify their priorities and needs and provide solutions.
- Communicate product and business needs from clients to stakeholders.
- Proactively engaging with potential and existing partners.
- Developing and implementing account management plans to maximise client retention, revenue growth, and gross profit.
- Collaborative work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Learning Services, and Operations team on account management strategy as needed to optimise account retention and revenue growth.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services, quotations, proposals and general support to prospective customers.
- Providing regular reporting, prospecting and pipeline forecast via CRM database.
You will work as part of the broader OpenLearning teams to deliver against the company targets, contributing to the continuous improvement processes, and extension into new products and services.
The successful candidate should have:
- Min 3 - 7 years of experience in sales or account management in an EdTech (preferably SaaS) or Education, training, corporate learning, and lifelong learning sectors.
- Experience with problem-solving sales approach to understand client needs and suggest practical and effective solutions and workarounds
- Client-focused and excellent in customer success and relationship management.
- Understand the need to work as a team for everyone to be successful. Ability to self-manage and execute with limited resources.
- Excellent written and verbal persuasive communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to effectively communicate with various audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to forge and maintain solid business relationships with both internal and external clients.
- A dynamic personality and a drive to think creatively to move deals forward.
- Proactive in driving outcomes and getting things done and able to work independently.
- Experience in Hubspot or other CRM tools is preferred
